Bollywood SAS

Here's a sneak peak of next month's
Stamp A Stack. It has a Bollywood kind of feel.
Lots of bright colours and flowers.
We will be using the Versamark shadowing technique.

Tea for Two Pouch

I noticed this little project at our Stampin Up
team training night. I am not sure who made it
as it was on the table with alot of other creations.
It uses the Envelope die cut twice and decorated
however comes to mind. As i didn't have a template
and made this one off the top of my head i will
need to adjust it for next time. It is too front heavy
with the tea bags so next time i will place the envelope
box closer to the bottom. It is so pretty and would look
lovely sitting on your desk at work with tea bags or mints.

I am so wind blown this afternnon. Soccer was at Mangrove Mountain
this morning and at times i felt like I was in the movie,
The Wizard of Oz and i thought we were going to be blown back
to home. Lucky for us we had our thermos of coffee to keep warm.
Have a great weekend and rug up.

A Case from Stampin Up

How does an early night turn into a very late night?
Soccer training gets cancelled and gives this Mum
a few more hours up her sleeve, so instead of getting
an early night which was advisable as this Mum
has been getting a little snappy lately.
Due to being the number 1 taxi driver,
cook, cleaner and the list goes on.
This Mum decided to have a look through the
2011 - 2012 Stampin Up Idea Book & Catalogue.
Which turned into Casing two cards from Page 5.
They really didn't take too long because the design was
there and once i decided on the stamps it all
came together quickly. I must do this more often
when I am stuck for a lay-out for a card.
Well that's why it is called the Idea Book.
The two cards are a little different but I tried to stay
true to the design and adapting with the supplies I had on hand.
I also made them full size cards.

Baby Girl

I wanted this card to have a soft feel about it.
I have used Confetti Cream for the card base,
Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla.

Attic Boutique

I have kept this card as clean and simple.
A few layers, some ribbon and a brad.
I used Confetti Cream cardstock for the card base.
I am really liking the Attic Boutique DSP at the moment
and i didn't want to cover it up on this card.

A Team Card

I made this card at a Stampin Up team meeting last weekend.
I enjoyed the time to sit and make a card that I
didn't have to come up with the design and it was great
to use colours I don't normally tend to use.
Linda Higgins put this card design together.

Time is a companion

When i read this sentiment it resonated with me
and reminds me to live each moment to the full.
We are not born with an instruction manual
and therefore we do make mistakes but we learn
from this and our lives are richer for it.
I have made plenty of mistakes but I cannot
change that but I can try to be a better person.
So this is how this card came about and i didn't
add too many embellishments as i wanted the sentiment
to stand out. I was very fortunate this month to have this
card published in Vol 18 No 5 Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft.

A Card I Like

I started making this card with pink in mind.
So what happened? To be truthful i don't know.
I personally like the vintage look and love the neutral colours
and not having made a card for two weeks i think my inner
vintage love came out and the pink idea disappeared.
When i finished i then wondered will the recipient like it?
Well thank goodness she did, she loved it and in a way
it is still girly with the flowers and butterflies.

For All The Mums

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there.
Here are some colourful flowers for you.
I hope you all get spoilt and find the time to
have lots of cuddles and kisses with the children.

And when we have days like this after running around
after those children, remember tomorrow is a new
and exciting day full of possibilities.

A Birthday Milestone

We celebrated my husband's birthday this week.
I made him the card below using all Stampin Up products.
To celebrate we had an amazing holiday to Hobart Tasmania.
We didn't stop except to sleep. The time went so fast but
we had lots of fun exploring and sightseeing.

Franklin Wharf

Salamanca Place
I took this photo early one morning before we went to the Cadbury Factory.

We went for a cruise on the Derwent river.

The gardens and trees are amazing, the parks are beautiful.
It was an awesome time to visit with the changing of the season
and the trees dropping their leaves.

We had some time out to relax and we enjoyed a few coffees and treats,
o.k well more than a few coffees. We loved sitting in Dome in their huge
leather chairs by the windows and watching the world go by.

Mt Wellington.

We visited a flower show in Town Hall.
Apart from the amazing flowers on display, Town Hall
is a magnificent building, loved the chandellers and mirrors.

Pink, Glitter and Bling

We have just finished celebrating the 18th birthdays
and now the 16th birthday party's are popping up.
I made this card for a "girly girl".
So pink, bling, glitter and butterfly's came to mind.
I made this square card, 14x14cm and all products
are Stampin Up. I also made a really cool envelope to match.
